Art Thru the Lens Photo Contest

2/18/11 Enjoy art through the interpretation of amateur photographers at the 2nd Annual Photo Contest “Art Thru the Lens” exhibition at George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center. On display are beautiful photo entries of landscapes, pets and still life objects, by local photographers who have transformed their hobby into works of art. Everyone is invited to enjoy the art show and become a critique for the day. Members of the public will judge the contest entries via anonymous votes. The winners will be announced at an Artist Reception on Fri., April 1. The photos entries will be on display from Feb. 25 - April 1. Exhibit hours are Mon. – Thurs. 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Fri. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Admission is free. George Pierce Park Community Recreation center is located at 55 Buford Hwy, in Suwanee.
