MISÉRABLES and JERSEY BOYS. Atlanta’s most ‘popular’ musical is flying back to
The Fox Theater as a season special. WICKED,
Broadway’s biggest blockbuster, will play a limited
4-week engagement in the fall. Setting sail in November, the 2011-2012
season opens with the Atlanta debut of DR. SEUSS’ HOW
THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL, a whimsical
voyage into Whoville – the perfectly charming backdrop
for a classic family-friendly story of redemption with a
lot of heart. The touring production of rocking Broadway triumph
MEMPHIS rolls into Atlanta in January. A smash hit
and Tony Award® winning Best Musical, this electric
journey through the airwaves tackles celebrity and taboo
in the 1950s South. Offering an inspiring tale from abroad, 10-time Tony
Award-winner BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL takes audiences on
a journey of discovering surprising passions. Coming in
March and featuring music from the legendary Elton John,
this glimpse into one boy’s triumph over the odds in his
Northern England community, already torn apart by
strike, proves universal motivation the world over. LES MISÉRABLES is an epic and uplifting story about
the survival of the human spirit that has changed the
face of musical theater. This brand new 25th
anniversary production of the legendary musical comes to
Atlanta this April with glorious new staging and
dazzlingly reimagined scenery currently selling out
across America. The season makes its last pit stop in the Northeast
as Tony Award® winning JERSEY BOYS returns to the
Atlanta stage in May. Taking audiences on a
journey through the seasons of life is the rise and fall
of ‘60s pop icons The Four Seasons. DR. SEUSS’ HOW THE
GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL November 29-December
4, 2011 Re-discover the magic of Dr. Seuss’ classic
holiday tale as it comes to life on stage.
Originally conceived by the three time Tony Award
winning Director Jack O'Brien, the whimsical world of
Whoville is beautifully realized by an A-list creative
team in this delightful musical production.
Featuring the hit songs “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”
and “Welcome Christmas,” The Grinch discovers there’s
more to Christmas than he bargained for in this
heart-warming holiday classic. Max the Dog narrates as
the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes
too small", decides to steal Christmas away from the
holiday loving Whos. Don't miss this
record-breaking Broadway hit this holiday season. MEMPHIS January 31-February
5, 2012 TURN UP THAT DIAL...From the underground dance clubs
of 1950s Memphis, Tennessee, comes a hot new Broadway
musical that bursts off the stage with explosive
dancing, irresistible songs and a thrilling tale of fame
and forbidden love. Inspired by actual events, MEMPHIS
is about a white radio DJ who wants to change the world
and a black club singer who is ready for her big break.
Come along on their incredible journey to the ends of
the airwaves – filled with laughter, soaring emotion and
roof-raising rock 'n' roll. Winner of four 2010 Tony
Awards including Best Musical, MEMPHIS features a
Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change) and a Tony-winning original score
with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.
Directing is Tony nominee Christopher Ashley (Xanadu),
and choreography is by Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys).
Get ready to experience Broadway’s most exciting new
destination... MEMPHIS! BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL March 14-25, 2012 ATLANTA IS ABOUT TO BE ELECTRIFIED BY BROADWAY’S

THE MUSICAL is a joyous celebration of one young boy’s
triumph against the odds. Called “THE MOST INSPIRING
SHOW I’VE SEEN IN YEARS” by Ben Brantley of The New York
Times, the story follows Billy’s journey as he stumbles
out of the boxing ring, into a ballet class and
discovers his dream to dance. BILLY ELLIOT is brought to
life by the Tony-winning creative team — director
Stephen Daldry, choreographer Peter Darling and writer
Lee Hall — along with music legend Elton John, who has
written what the New York Post calls “HIS BEST SCORE
YET!”. BILLY ELLIOT will enchant the dreamer in
all of us. LES MISÉRABLES April 24-29, 2012 DREAM THE DREAM. Cameron Mackintosh presents a

production has been acclaimed by critics, fans and new
audiences and is breaking box office records wherever it

Atlanta! Following the smashing success of its
Atlanta debut in 2009, with more than 92,000 patrons
experiencing the show, this Broadway sensation is
returning to the Fox Theatre. “IT IS ALMOST
IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE JERSEY BOYS ANYTHING BUT LOVE! A
virtually seamless musical that transcends generational
appeal!” – Wendell Brock for Atlanta
Journal-Constitution. “THE MOST EXCITING MUSICAL PACKAGE
BROADWAY HAS SEEN IN YEARS.” – The Chicago Tribune.
“THE CROWD GOES WILD.” – The New York Times. “TOO
GOOD TO BE TRUE!” raves the New York Post for JERSEY

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie
Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is
the story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the
greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote
their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175
million records worldwide – all before they were 30!
JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best
Musical Show Album and most recently, the 2009 Olivier
Award for Best New Musical, features their hit songs

record time. Winner of 35 major awards, including a

biggest blockbuster, a cultural phenomenon and was just
named “the defining musical of the decade" by The New
York Times. Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in
Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One -
born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and
misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and
very popular. How these two grow to become the Wicked
Witch of the West and Glinda the Good makes for "the
